As a resident you can see that nobody adheres to the corona rules ... large crowd in front of the restaurant ...
A classic in Haidhausen. You have the portafilter machine under control, you can rely on the beans, the service is motivated and friendly.
Italo Cafeteria perfect. L. M.
Good snack, great espresso and friendly service. I would love to come back
Has become my tribal press bar. Very good espresso, delicious snacks. Price-performance ratio is great
Very friendly service Fast service and very tasty scrambled eggs
Very Italian and the best Italian croissants in town; unless they are cold or no longer fresh, therefore only 4 stars.
How little motivated can a waiter be?
The finest espresso. Bise balde
Focaccia was buonissima. Like on vacation in Italy!
Very nice place with great atmosfhere. I would recommend it.
Very nice small cafe bar with good prosecco, small snacks and friendly service
Best Italian espresso in Haidhausen!
Friendly staff, cute interior and the breakfast (rustico) and cappuccino was simply amazing. Felt like I was back in Italy - the quality of the food and coffee justifies the pice.
Extremely unfriendly bar manager. Not a good service. Dirty glasses and broken toilet. Never again
Nice atmosphere, very good coffee.
Lovely place, great coffee and nice service!
Great coffee.
Decent coffee and croissants. Sandwiches are huge and quite tasty. Location is perfect in the heart of sleepy Haidhausen. Unfortunately, the place is really let down by the poor and grumpy service.
Had a coffee of some form here, was like a Mr whippy lol
Very nice owners and waitresses, delicious coffee, the world's best croissants. And there are street chalk for the children.
The location is very nice to sit outside, to watch the fountain, and the people :) Very nice staff as well, the latte macchiato was good, but the tonic for the gin wasn't good at all.
The staff has been friendly, the place is very small, in summer they have a nice terrace (middle of the square)
top coffee. Nice service. In summer very nice view. Mega good croissants.
Real italian coffee
This was the perfect spot for breakfast and a cup of coffee before we left. What a wonderful last memory of Germany.
Small but nice espresso bar in Italian style with good Mediterranean food. Happy to have a quick espresso or spaghetti with pesto at a fair price. Also to sit outside and enjoy the view on the fountain wonderful!
Delicious sweet particles. Tasty. Good coffee. Kind. Recommended. Price for money is okay.
Nice espresso!
Loved it.
There are places where you feel at home, where the coffee you drink is well done and excellent Italian roasting, Jo an exquisite owner and the guys ... Well one better than the other. Do not miss the dishes served twice a week for lunch: enjoy them !!
Italian caffé and nice atmosphere
Usually crowded
Probably the best coffee in Munich. Nice outdoor seating for warm days and good breakfast options. Unfortunately closed on Sundays.
Avoid this place, folks! I've never had such a needless bad experience in a simple espresso bar. 1) Waited a while outside to be served. No problem - nice weather. 2) Ordered a "schnelles Frühstück" (€4.50)= small cappuccino plus *plain* croissant. Perfect. 3) Received a cappuccino (good BTW), asked to pay immediately, waitress disappears. 4) Notice a dry croissant-oid thing covered in sugar next to cappuccino. Can't eat that sugar. Never mind, the waitress should be coming right back so I can pay, right? 5) ...wait... 6) ...wait... 7) Took it back and asked for a plain one 8) Waitress tells me that the sugared thing is (silly me!) in reality a *plain* croissant, and besides, she has nothing else. 9) I point out what look like plain mini-croissants there. Ask for two of those instead. Waitress agrees. 10) But, oh dear, she has only one of them, so I reluctantly agree to take a filled one instead. 11) Take them out to my now cold coffee. 12) Waitress doesn't reappear. Have to go back in and pay after all. 13) Now instead of a 4.50 breakfast it's more: for the breakfast *plus* two mini-croissants. 14) I complain this is not what we agreed. She claims she can do nothing about it. 15) I disagree. She calls proprietor and I say the same to him. 17) He basically tells me, in heavily Italian-accented German to go away and stop provoking him and spoiling his nice sunny day. It would be such a nice day for him if I were not there. 18) After calling him a cheat (Betrüger) I do exactly that. Lessons learned: * Avoid the Ideal Espresso bar! False labeling plus bad food plus the "take it or leave it" ("friss oder stirb") attitude on top. * They haven't a clue about customer service, the whole thing could so easily have been solved amicably, and there are plenty of alternatives in the area. * Don't ask Italians for croissants, apparently they haven't a clue about those either. There! That's cost me a lot of lunch break, but I feel much better now.
A little Italian corner!
Good espresso! Fair price and friendly staff make the break for cappuccino or espresso very pleasant and relaxing. The problem is, the place is so small that it takes some time to find a table.
Amazing espresso bar, great breakfast, panini and lunch! Friendly and kind service
Great food people wine and atmosphere. One of my favourite places in Munich
Nice, small coffee spot. Typical Italien. Always full.
Excellent ☕️ and croissants!
Great coffee
